Title :THE BRUCE ROBERTS NUMBER OF A FUNCTION ON A HYPERSURFACE

Abstract:We study, using basic results on singularities theory, the relation between the the Milnor
and the Bruce-Roberts numbers of a function germ on an isolated hypersurface singularity,
generalizing the results of [1]. Also, we present a characterization of the Tjurina number
of an isolated hypersurface singularity and a simple form to calculate the Bruce Roberts
number. Besides, we show that the logarithmica characteristic variety of an isolated
hypersurface singularity is Cohen-Macaulay.
